Extended Game Jam Version Launch
Good evening my fellow Kindred,
This day marks our new release - the first one after the Game Jam. It contains the content intended for Game Jam, but it’s not 100% complete and finished. The combat system and QA took far more time than we anticipated, so we decided - instead of postponing a premiere date again - to release the parts that are working at least somewhat satisfactorily so you can have a starting point for the preview of our ever-growing project.
In the upcoming days, we’ll publish a detailed roadmap of our development plans to show what we are planning, but learning from our mistake, we’ll refrain from giving any precise dates. We also plan to add patches intended to improve the player experience to today’s release until we’ve implemented 100% of the planned content. Moreover, we’ll try to keep you updated and give you all the patch announcements on our itch site, as well as on our Discord server, so we recommend you chime in if you’re interested.
We’d also appreciate it if our players could submit feedback and bug reports so that we may address them quickly. You can send them our way through our Discord server. Our programmers will especially appreciate logs that will be stored in AppData/LocalLow/SunsetStudio/Sunset Chronicles Blood_Vice in case of crashes or freezes.
We’d also like to thank everyone for their continued support - it’s something that keeps us running - even when we’re overwhelmed and stressed out with the development process.
That said, we hope you’ll have fun with what we already have and that it only ignites your appetite for more! If you'd like to support further development of our project feel free to do it via our Patreon page.
See you in the next dev diary!
